Photo Quality Instructions

PHOTO QUALITY

As you can see below, it is important to use a high quality photo of your loved one.

These are the specifications for the best photo:

  • 300 – 600 dpi (dots per inch)
  • 600px (pixels) minimum on the shortest side.  And if you are providing a printed photo, at least 6 inches on the shortest side.
  • An unedited, uncropped original photo submission will result in the best possible engraving for your loved one.  Be very specific about the family’s preferences for the photo or image. Often there are multiple people or things in the photo the family would like removed. Detailed instructions will allow for a faster turnaround on proofs.  (We will edit or crop as needed.)
  • After sending an image for a custom urn, we’ll send you a proof. Once approved, two business days are required for production, and the urn will ship out on the third business day.
  • Please note that all copyrighted images can only be used with a release from the owner of the artwork, photo or logo.
